حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَبُو نُعَيْمٍ الْمَعْنَى قَالَا ثَنَا فِطْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ قَالَ جَمَعَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ النَّاسَ فِي الرَّحَبَةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَنْشُدُ اللَّهَ كُلَّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَوْمَ غَدِيرِ خُمٍّ مَا سَمِعَ لَمَّا قَامَ فَقَامَ ثَلَاثُونَ مِنْ النَّاسِ وَقَالَ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ فَقَامَ نَاسٌ كَثِيرٌ فَشَهِدُوا حِينَ أَخَذَهُ بِيَدِهِ فَقَالَ لِلنَّاسِ أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنِّي أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ قَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَهَذَا مَوْلَاهُ اللَّهُمَّ وَالِ مَنْ وَالَاهُ وَعَادِ مَنْ عَادَاهُ قَالَ فَخَرَجْتُ وَكَأَنَّ فِي نَفْسِي شَيْئًا فَلَقِيتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ يَقُولُ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ فَمَا تُنْكِرُ قَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Husayn ibn Muhammad and Abu Nu'aym told us — the meaning being the same — Fitr told us, from Abu al-Tufayl, who said: Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, gathered the people at al-Rahbah and said to them: I ask by Allah every Muslim man who heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say on the day of Ghadir Khumm what he said, to stand up when he stood. So thirty of the people stood up — and Abu Nu'aym said: many people stood up — and they bore witness to when he took him by the hand and said to the people: Do you know that I am closer to the believers than their own selves? They said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said: Whoever's master I am, this one is his master; O Allah, take as an ally whoever allies with him, and be an enemy of whoever opposes him. He said: So I went out with something in my mind, and I met Zayd ibn Arqam and said to him: I heard Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, say such and such. He said: What do you find objectionable? I have indeed heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say that to him.
