Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr told us: Zuhayr told us: Abu Ishaq told us, from Abd al-Jabbar ibn Wa'il, from Wa'il, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) place his right hand over his left in prayer, near the wrist, and he would place his hand, when he opened the prayer, until they reached his ears. I prayed behind him, and he recited "nor of those who have gone astray," then said "Amen" aloud.
