حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَازِبٍ قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَى النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ فِي شَهَادَةٍ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ خَطَأٌ إِلَّا السَّيْفَ وَفِي كُلِّ خَطَإٍ أَرْشٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ahmad b. Abd al-Malik told us: Zuhayr told us: Jabir told us: Abu Azib told us, he said: We came to al-Nu'man b. Bashir regarding a testimony, and I heard him say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said - or he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say" - "Everything carries liability for mistake except the sword, and for every mistake there is compensation."
