حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ سَنَةَ إِحْدَى وَثَمَانِينَ وَمِائَةٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمِّ حَرَامٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ وَقَدْ صَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ وَعَلَيْهِ ثَوْبُ خَزٍّ أَغْبَرُ وَأَشَارَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى مَنْكِبَيْهِ فَظَنَّ كَثِيرٌ أَنَّهُ رِدَاءٌ.

It was narrated to us by Kathir ibn Marwan Abu Muhammad in the year one hundred and eighty-one, it was narrated to us by Ibrahim ibn Abi Ablah, who said: I saw Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Umm Haram al-Ansari, and he had prayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) towards both of the two qiblahs, wearing a dust-colored garment of khazz - and Ibrahim gestured with his hand towards his shoulders, so Kathir thought that it was a cloak.
