حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ وَحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ قَالَ مُوسَى فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ جَزْءٍ الزُّبَيْدِيَّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ فِي النَّارِ حَيَّاتٍ كَأَمْثَالِ أَعْنَاقِ الْبُخْتِ تَلْسَعُ إِحْدَاهُنَّ اللَّسْعَةَ فَيَجِدُ حَمْوَتَهَا أَرْبَعِينَ خَرِيفًا وَإِنَّ فِي النَّارِ عَقَارِبَ كَأَمْثَالِ الْبِغَالِ الْمُوكَفَةِ تَلْسَعُ إِحْدَاهُنَّ اللَّسْعَةَ فَيَجِدُ حَمْوَتَهَا أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً.

Musa ibn Dawud and Hasan ibn Musa told us, they said: Ibn Lahi'ah told us — and Hasan ibn Musa said: Ibn Lahi'ah told us — from Darraj; Musa said in his narration: he said: I heard Abdullah ibn al-Harith ibn Jaz' al-Zubaydi say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Indeed in the Fire there are snakes like the necks of Bactrian camels; one of them stings with a single sting and [the victim] feels its burning heat for forty autumns. And indeed in the Fire there are scorpions like laden mules; one of them stings with a single sting and [the victim] feels its burning heat for forty years.
