حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو أَنَّ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ زِيَادٍ الْحَضْرَمِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ جَزْءٍ الزُّبَيْدِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ مَرَّ وَصَاحِبٌ لَهُ بِأَيْمَنَ وَفِئَةٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ قَدْ حَلُّوا أُزُرَهُمْ فَجَعَلُوهَا مَخَارِيقَ يَجْتَلِدُونَ بِهَا وَهُمْ عُرَاةٌ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فَلَمَّا مَرَرْنَا بِهِمْ قَالُوا إِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ قِسِّيسُونَ فَدَعُوهُمْ ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَلَمَّا أَبْصَرُوهُ تَبَدَّدُوا فَرَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُغْضَبًا حَتَّى دَخَلَ وَكُنْتُ أَنَا وَرَاءَ الْحُجْرَةِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ لَا مِنْ اللَّهِ اسْتَحْيَوْا وَلَا مِنْ رَسُولِهِ اسْتَتَرُوا وَأُمُّ أَيْمَنَ عِنْدَهُ تَقُولُ اسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فَبِلَأْيٍ مَا أَسْتَغْفِرُ لَهُمْ قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ هَارُونَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Haroun told us, Abdullah ibn Wahb told us, Amr told us that Sulayman ibn Ziyad al-Hadrami told him, that Abdullah ibn al-Harith ibn Jaz' al-Zubaydi told him: that he and a companion of his passed by Ayman and a group of Quraysh who had loosened their waist-wraps and made them into whips with which they were striking one another while they were naked. Abdullah said: When we passed by them, [some] said: These are monks/priests, so leave them alone. Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came out to them, and when they saw him they scattered. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, returned angered, until he entered [his house], and I was behind the chamber, and I heard him say: Glory be to Allah! They were ashamed neither before Allah nor did they conceal themselves from His Messenger. And Umm Ayman was with him, saying: Ask forgiveness for them, O Messenger of Allah. Abdullah said: So it was only with great difficulty that he asked forgiveness for them. Abdullah said: and I myself heard it from Haroun.
