حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ كُنَّا نُحَاقِلُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الثُّلُثِ وَالرُّبُعِ أَوْ طَعَامٍ مُسَمًّى قَالَ فَأَتَانَا بَعْضُ عُمُومَتِي فَقَالَ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَمْرٍ كَانَ لَنَا نَافِعًا وَطَوَاعِيَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْفَعُ لَنَا وَأَنْفَعُ قَالَ قُلْنَا وَمَا ذَاكَ قَالَ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا أَوْ لِيُزْرِعْهَا أَخَاهُ وَلَا يُكَارِيهَا بِثُلُثٍ وَلَا رُبُعٍ وَلَا بِطَعَامٍ مُسَمًّى قَالَ قَتَادَةُ وَهُوَ ظَهِيرٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Abi Arubah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Ya'la ibn Hakim, from Sulayman ibn Yasar, from Rafi' ibn Khadij, who said: We used to practice muhaqalah (share-cropping of land) in the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, for a third, a quarter, or a specified quantity of food. He said: Then some of my paternal uncles came to us and said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, has forbidden us a matter that was beneficial to us, but obedience to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, is more elevating and more beneficial for us. We said: And what is that? He said: The Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever has land, let him cultivate it himself, or let him lend it to his brother to cultivate, and let him not lease it out for a third, a quarter, or a specified quantity of food. Qatadah said: And he is a corroborating support [for this report].
