حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أَنْسَابَكُمْ هَذِهِ لَيْسَتْ بِمَسَبَّةٍ عَلَى أَحَدٍ كُلُّكُمْ بَنُو آدَمَ طَفُّ الصَّاعِ لَمْ تَمْلَئُوهُ لَيْسَ لِأَحَدٍ عَلَى أَحَدٍ فَضْلٌ إِلَّا بِدِينٍ أَوْ تَقْوَى وَكَفَى بِالرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَكُونَ بَذِيًّا بَخِيلًا فَاحِشًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya ibn Ishaq told us, Ibn Lahi'ah informed us, from al-Harith ibn Yazid, from Ali ibn Rabah, from Uqbah ibn Amir al-Juhani, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: These lineages of yours are no cause for reviling anyone; you are all sons of Adam, a scoop of a measure that has not been filled. No one has any superiority over another except through religion or piety, and it is enough disgrace for a man to be foul-mouthed, miserly, and obscene.
