حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُبَارَكٍ أَخْبَرَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ يَزِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ أَبَا الْخَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ فِي ظِلِّ صَدَقَتِهِ حَتَّى يُفْصَلَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ أَوْ قَالَ يُحْكَمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ قَالَ يَزِيدُ وَكَانَ أَبُو الْخَيْرِ لَا يُخْطِئُهُ يَوْمٌ إِلَّا تَصَدَّقَ فِيهِ بِشَيْءٍ وَلَوْ كَعْكَةً أَوْ بَصَلَةً أَوْ كَذَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Ali ibn Ishaq narrated to us, 'Abdullah ibn Mubarak narrated to us, Harmalah ibn 'Imran narrated to us, that he heard Yazid ibn Abi Habib relate that Abu al-Khayr told him that he heard 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "Every person is in the shade of his charity until judgment is rendered between people" - or he said "until it is decided between people." Yazid said: And Abu al-Khayr never let a day pass without giving something in charity, even if only a small cake or an onion or the like.
