قَالَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَلِّمُنَا كَلِمَاتٍ نَدْعُو بِهِنَّ فِي صَلَاتِنَا أَوْ قَالَ فِي دُبُرِ صَلَاتِنَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الثَّبَاتَ فِي الْأَمْرِ وَأَسْأَلُكَ عَزِيمَةَ الرُّشْدِ وَأَسْأَلُكَ شُكْرَ نِعْمَتِكَ وَحُسْنَ عِبَادَتِكَ وَأَسْأَلُكَ قَلْبًا سَلِيمًا وَلِسَانًا صَادِقًا وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا تَعْلَمُ وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا تَعْلَمُ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا تَعْلَمُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He said: And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to teach us words with which to supplicate in our prayer - or he said: at the end of our prayer: O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in the matter, and I ask You for firm resolve in guidance, and I ask You for gratitude for Your blessing and excellence in worshiping You, and I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue, and I seek Your forgiveness for what You know, and I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know.
