حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا أَنَا مُبَلِّغٌ وَاللَّهُ يَهْدِي وَقَاسِمٌ وَاللَّهُ يُعْطِي فَمَنْ بَلَغَهُ مِنِّي شَيْءٌ بِحُسْنِ رَغْبَةٍ وَحُسْنِ هُدًى فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ الَّذِي يُبَارَكُ لَهُ فِيهِ وَمَنْ بَلَغَهُ عَنِّي شَيْءٌ بِسُوءِ رَغْبَةٍ وَسُوءِ هُدًى فَذَاكَ الَّذِي يَأْكُلُ وَلَا يَشْبَعُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu al-Mughira said: Safwan narrated to us, saying: Abu al-Zahiriyya narrated to us from Mu'awiya ibn Abi Sufyan: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'I am only one who conveys, and Allah guides; and one who distributes, and Allah gives. Whoever from me receives something with good desire and good guidance, that is the one for whom it will be blessed; and whoever from me receives something with evil desire and evil guidance, that is like the one who eats but is never satisfied.'
