حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ قَالَ أُوتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِوَدَّانَ بِحِمَارِ وَحْشٍ فَرَدَّهُ وَقَالَ إِنَّا حُرُمٌ لَا نَأْكُلُ الصَّيْدَ.

'Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr narrated to me, he said: Hammad narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Dinar narrated to us, from Ibn 'Abbas, from al-Sa'b ibn Jaththamah, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, was brought a wild donkey at Wadan, and he returned it, saying: "We are in ihram; we do not eat game."
