قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ السُّلَمِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ نَافِعَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ عُثْمَانُ وَبِي وَجَعٌ قَدْ كَادَ يُهْلِكُنِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمْسِكْ بِيَمِينِكَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ قَالَ فَفَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ فَأَذْهَبَ اللَّهُ مَا كَانَ بِي فَلَمْ أَزَلْ آمُرُ بِهِ أَهْلِي وَغَيْرَهُمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He said: Rawh told us: Malik ibn Anas told us, from Yazid ibn Khusayfah, that 'Amr ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Ka'b al-Sulami informed him that Nafi' ibn Jubayr informed him that 'Uthman ibn Abi al-'As came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. 'Uthman said: I have a pain that has nearly destroyed me. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Place your right hand on it seven times and say: I seek refuge in the might and power of Allah from the evil of what I feel. He said: I did that, and Allah removed what afflicted me, and I have not ceased to command my family and others to do it.
