حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَا أَحَدٌ يَدْعُو بِدُعَاءٍ إِلَّا آتَاهُ اللَّهُ مَا سَأَلَ أَوْ كَفَّ عَنْهُ مِنْ السُّوءِ مِثْلَهُ مَا لَمْ يَدْعُ بِإِثْمٍ أَوْ بِقَطِيعَةِ رَحِمٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Qutaybah ibn Sa'id told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: No one makes a supplication except Allah gives him what he asked for, or wards off from him an equal measure of evil, so long as he does not supplicate for a sin or for severing family ties.
