حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ جَابِرًا أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَحِلُّ لِأَحَدٍ يَحْمِلُ فِيهَا السِّلَاحَ لِقِتَالٍ فَقَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ يَعْنِي الْمَدِينَةَ.

Musa told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, that Jabir informed him that he said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "It is not lawful for anyone to carry weapons in it for fighting" - Qutaybah said - meaning Medina.
