Abdullah ibn Bakr told us, Humayd told us, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A people will come to you whose hearts are more tender than yours." When they drew near to Madinah they began chanting: "Tomorrow we shall meet our loved ones, Muhammad and his company." Then the Ash'aris arrived, among them Abu Musa al-Ash'ari.
