حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ وَابْنُ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ وَابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ اعْتَكَفَ الْعَشْرَ الْوَسَطَ وَاعْتَكَفْنَا مَعَهُ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ صَبِيحَةُ عِشْرِينَ مَرَّ بِنَا وَنَحْنُ نَنْقُلُ مَتَاعَنَا فَقَالَ مَنْ كَانَ مُعْتَكِفًا فَلْيَكُنْ فِي مُعْتَكَفِهِ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةَ فَنُسِّيتُهَا وَرَأَيْتُنِي أَسْجُدُ فِي مَاءٍ وَطِينٍ وَعَرِيشُ الْمَسْجِدِ جَرِيدٌ فَهَاجَتْ السَّمَاءُ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَإِنَّ عَلَى أَنْفِهِ وَجَبْهَتِهِ أَثَرَ الْمَاءِ وَالطِّينِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sufyan told us, Muhammad ibn Amr told us, from Abu Salamah, and Ibn Abi Labid, from Abu Salamah: I heard Abu Sa'id - and Ibn Jurayj, from Sulayman al-Ahwal, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Sa'id: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, made retreat during the middle ten days of Ramadan, and we made retreat with him. When it was the morning of the twentieth, he passed by us while we were carrying our belongings, and said: "Whoever was in retreat should remain in his place of retreat, for I saw this night but then it was made to be forgotten by me. I saw myself prostrating in water and mud" - and the shelter of the mosque was made of palm branches - "then the sky broke open." So I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, with the trace of water and mud upon his nose and forehead.
