حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ أَبِي قُلْتُ سُفْيَانُ سَمِعَهُ قَالَ زَعَمَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَلَاةٍ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ وَبَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ.

Sufyan told us, from Damrah, from Abu Sa'id - the narrator's father said: I asked, did Sufyan hear it directly? He said: He claimed to have: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade prayer after Asr until the sun sets, and after Fajr until the sun rises.
