حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ وَحبِيبُ بْنُ الشَّهِيدِ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ وَالْفِقْهُ يَمَانٍ وَالْحِكْمَةُ يَمَانِيَةٌ.

Mu'ammal ibn Isma'il told us, Hammad - meaning Ibn Salamah - told us, Hisham and Habib ibn al-Shahid told us, from Ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Faith is Yemeni, understanding is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni."
