حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ طَافَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ لِيَرَاهُ النَّاسُ وَلِيُشْرِفَ وَلِيَسْأَلُوهُ فَإِنَّ النَّاسَ غَشُوهُ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) performed the circumambulation of the Sacred House (the Ka'bah) at the Farewell Pilgrimage upon his mount, and also performed the sa'i between al-Safa and al-Marwah, so that he would be elevated and the people could behold him and ask him questions (regarding the rites of Hajj), for the people had thronged around him (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے حجۃ الوداع میں اپنی سواری پر بیت اللہ شریف کا طواف فرمایا اور صفا و مروہ کی سعی فرمائی، تاکہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم بلندی پر ہوں اور لوگ آپ کا دیدار کر سکیں اور آپ سے (مسائلِ حج) دریافت کر سکیں، کیونکہ لوگوں نے آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو گھیر رکھا تھا۔
