حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ كَثِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، وَالْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، وَفِطْرٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، - قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ سُلَيْمَانُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَرَفَعَهُ فِطْرٌ وَالْحَسَنُ - قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَيْسَ الْوَاصِلُ بِالْمُكَافِئِ وَلَكِنَّ الْوَاصِلَ هُوَ الَّذِي إِذَا قُطِعَتْ رَحِمُهُ وَصَلَهَا " .
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be well pleased with them both) — Sufyan said: Sulayman (al-A'mash) did not attribute it to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), while Fitr and al-Hasan narrated it as a the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)ic tradition — the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: The one who maintains ties of kinship is not the one who reciprocates (good for good). Rather, the true maintainer of kinship is the one who, when his relatives sever ties with him, still maintains ties with them.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے مروی ہے — سفیان فرماتے ہیں کہ سلیمان (اعمش) نے اسے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم تک مرفوع نہیں کیا، جبکہ فطر اور حسن نے مرفوع روایت کیا ہے — رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: صلہ رحمی کرنے والا وہ نہیں جو بدلے میں ناتا جوڑے، بلکہ حقیقی صلہ رحمی کرنے والا وہ ہے کہ جب اس سے ناتا توڑا جائے تب بھی وہ جوڑے۔
