اسق الماء على الماء فى اليوم الصائف تنتشر ذنوبك كما ينتشر الورق من الشجر فى الريح العاصف

الأرزفى الطعام كالسيد فى القوم...

من اكل الأرز أربعين يوما ظهرت ينابيع الحكمة من قلبه على لسانه

عليكم بالقرع فإنه يزيد فى العقل

عليكم بالبصل فإنه يطيب النطفة و يصبح الولد

من أكل القثاء بلحم وقى الجذام

"Whoever eats cucumber with meat will be protected from leprosy."

قلب المؤمن حلو يحب الحلاوة

"The heart of the believer is sweet; it loves sweetness."

ان أهل الجوع فى الدنيا هم أهل الشبع فى الاخرة

"Indeed, those who go hungry in this world will be the satiated ones in the Hereafter."

الجبن داء و الجوز داء فاذا اجتمعا صارا شفاءين
