Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10049 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْقَزَّازُ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا حُسَامُ بْنُ مِصَكٍّ ثنا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ نَفْسَ الْمُؤْمِنِ يَخْرُجُ رَشْحًا وَلَا أُحِبُّ مَوْتًا كَمَوْتِ الْحِمَارِ» قِيلَ وَمَا مَوْتُ الْحِمَارِ؟ قَالَ «رُوحُ الْكَافِرِ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ أَشْدَاقِهِ»
English Translation
Abdullah said: I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: 'Indeed the soul of the believer departs with perspiration, and I do not prefer a death like the death of a donkey.' It was asked: 'What is the death of a donkey?' He said: 'The soul of the disbeliever exits from his jaws.'
