Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9455 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ ثنا خُصَيْفٌ الْجَزَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا تَنْقُصُنَّ مِنْ صَلَاتِكُمْ فِي مَبَادِيكُمْ وَلَا أَجْشَارِكُمْ وَلَا تَسِيرُوا فِي قُرَى السَّوَادِ فِي حَوَائِجِكُمْ فَتَقُولُوا إِنَّا سَفْرٌ إِنَّمَا الْمُسَافِرُ مِنَ الْأُفُقِ إِلَى الْأُفُقِ
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said: 'Do not reduce your prayers in your rural residences and farms, and do not travel to the villages of the countryside for your needs saying: We are travelers. Indeed, the traveler is one who journeys from one horizon to another.'
