Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9402 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا فَسَأَلْنَاهُ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ يَقْرَأُ؟ قَالَ «كَانَ يُسْمِعُ آلَ عُتْبَةَ وَهُمْ فِي حُجْرَةٍ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ»
English Translation
When asked how Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) used to recite, Alqamah said: 'He would let the family of 'Utbah hear, and they were in a room in front of him.'
