Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9401 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ سَأَلْنَا عَلْقَمَةَ كَيْفَ كَانَتْ قِرَاءَةُ عَبْدِ اللهِ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَكَانَ يَبِيتُ عِنْدَهُ؟ قَالَ «كَانَ يُسْمِعُ آلَ عُتْبَةَ أَخِيهِ وَهُمْ فِي حُجْرَةٍ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ»
English Translation
Alqamah was asked about Abdullah's (ibn Mas'ud) recitation at night, as he used to stay with him. He said: 'He would let the family of 'Utbah, his brother, hear — and they were in a room in front of him.'
