Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9385 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ «جَاءَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ وَالْإِمَامُ يُصَلِّي الصُّبْحَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ إِلَى سَارِيَةٍ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ»
English Translation
Ibn Mas'ud came while the imam was praying the Fajr prayer. He prayed two rak'ahs by a pillar (the Sunnah prayer of Fajr), as he had not yet prayed the two rak'ahs of Fajr (Sunnah).
