Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8626 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ يَمْكُثُ سَنَةً لَا يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَإِذَا قَالَ «قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ» أَخَذَتْهُ رِعْدَةُ وَتَغَيَّرَ وَجْهُهُ قَالَ «كَذَا أَوْ كَذَا أَوْ كَذَا»
English Translation
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid said: 'Abdullah would go a year without saying "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said." When he did say it, trembling would seize him and his face would change. He would say: "Like this, or like that, or close to this, or something like it."
