English Translation
Zayd ibn Wahb said: We were sitting with 'Umar when 'Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) came — the seated people nearly reached his height due to his shortness. 'Umar laughed when he saw him. 'Abdullah began speaking with 'Umar and joking with him while standing over him. When 'Abdullah left, 'Umar followed him with his gaze until he disappeared, then said: "A little vessel filled with knowledge."
