English Translation
Zayd ibn Wahb said: 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "There will be rulers after me who do not follow my guidance and do not follow my Sunnah. Among them will be men whose hearts are the hearts of devils in the bodies of humans." He asked: "What should I do, O Messenger of Allah, if I reach that time?" He said: "Listen and obey the ruler, even if your back is beaten and your wealth is taken — listen and obey."
