Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3497 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى الْكِسَائِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ ثنا أَبُو حَمَّادٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نُوَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ الْكَاتِبِ قَالَ «أَهْدَى الْمُقَوْقَسُ مَلِكُ الْقِبْطِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ هَدِيَّةً وَبَغْلَةً شَهْبَاءَ فَقَبِلَهَا ﷺ»
English Translation
Narrated Handhala ibn al-Rabi' the scribe: The Muqawqis, the ruler of the Copts, sent a gift to the Prophet (peace be upon him) including a grey mule, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) accepted it.
