English Translation
Narrated Handhala the scribe: We were in a military expedition with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and we passed by a woman who had been killed, and a crowd had gathered around her. They made way for the Prophet (peace be upon him), and he said, 'This woman was not one who would fight.' Then he said, 'Go catch up with Khalid ibn al-Walid and tell him: Do not kill offspring or hired workers.'
