Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2065 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ أَهْلَ الدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى يَرَاهُمْ مَنْ هُوَ أَسْفَلُ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا يُرَى الْكَوْكَبُ الدُّرِّيُّ فِي أُفُقِ السَّمَاءِ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ مِنْهُمْ وَأَنْعِمَا»
English Translation
Jabir ibn Samurah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "The people of the highest ranks (in Paradise) will be seen by those below them just as you see the brilliant star on the horizon of the sky. And Abu Bakr and 'Umar are among them — and how excellent they are."
