English Translation
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: When Abu Sufyan and his companions descended upon the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the Day of Uhud, he said to his companions: 'I saw in a dream that my sword, Dhul-Faqar, was broken, and I saw cows being slaughtered — and that is a calamity — and I saw that my armor was upon me, and that is your city (Madinah). They will not reach it, if Allah wills.'
