ناعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِيعَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْيَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْيَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍمَوْلَى الْمَهْرِيِّ، عَنْأَبِيهِ، عَنْأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ إِلَى بَنِي لِحْيَانَ:" لِيَخْرُجَ مِنْ كُلِّ رَجُلَيْنِ رَجُلٌ"، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِلْقَاعِدِ:"أَيُّكُمْ خَلَفَ الْخَارِجَ فِي أَهْلِهِ وَمَالِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَلَهُ نِصْفُ أَجْرِ الْخَارِجِ".
English Translation
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sent a force against Banu Lihyan and said: "Let one man from every two go forth." Then he said to those who stayed behind: "Whichever of you looks after the one who went out, caring for his family and wealth with goodness, shall have half the reward of the one who went out."
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”بنو لحیان کے لیے حکم دیا: ہر دو میں سے ایک نکلے، اور قاعد کو کہا: جو اہل میں خیر کا معاملہ کرے گا، اسے آدھا اجر ملے گا۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الجهاد/حدیث: 3503]
