حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْرَجُلٍ، طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ ثَلاثًا، ثُمَّ قَذَفَهَا فِي الْعِدَّةِ , قَالَ:" يُلاعِنُهَا مَا كَانَتْ فِي الْعِدَّةِ , فَإِذَا انْقَضَتِ الْعِدَّةُ جُلِدَ وَلَمْ يُلاعِنْ".
English Translation
Al-Sha'bi was asked about a man who divorced his wife three times and then accused her during the waiting period. He said: "He performs li'an with her as long as she is in the waiting period. If the waiting period has ended, he is flogged and there is no li'an."
Urdu Translation
حضرت شعبی رحمہ اللہ نے فرمایا: اگر کسی نے بیوی کو تین طلاقیں دے کر عدت میں تہمت لگائی تو عدت کے دوران لعان کرے گا، اگر عدت ختم ہو گئی تو حد جاری ہو گی اور لعان نہیں ہو گا۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الطلاق/حدیث: 2751]
