Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا عُبَيْدَةُ، أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ:" إِنْ طَلَّقَهَا طَلْقَةً فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِرَجْعَتِهَا لَمْ تَعْتَدَّ بِهَا، وَإِنْ طَلَّقَهَا طَلاقًا بَائِنًا اعْتَدَّتْ بِهَا".
English Translation
Al-Hasan said: "If he divorces her with a revocable divorce, he has the right to take her back and it (the menstrual period) is not counted. But if it is an irrevocable divorce, it is counted in the waiting period."
Urdu Translation
حضرت حسن رحمہ اللہ نے فرمایا: اگر رجعی طلاق دی ہو تو رجوع کا حق ہے اور عدت نہیں، اگر بائن طلاق دی ہے تو عدت شمار کی جائے گی۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الطلاق/حدیث: 2726]
