Arabic (Original)
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "لا تتمنوا لقاء العدو، فإذا لقيتموه فاصبروا" ((متفق عليه))
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "Do not wish for an encounter with the enemy. Pray to Allah to grant you safety; (but) when you encounter them, show patience.".
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: دشمن سے مقابلے کی تمنا نہ کرو، لیکن جب دشمن سے سامنا ہو جائے تو صبر کرو۔ (متفق علیہ)
