وعن أبي عمرو ويقال: أبو حكيم النعمان بن مقرن رضي الله عنه قال: شهدت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا لم يقاتل من أول النهار أخر القتال حتى تزول الشمس وتهب الريح وينزل النصر. ((رواه أبو داود، والترمذي، وقال: حديث حسن صحيح)).
English Translation
An-Nu'man bin Muqarrin (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that I was with the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) when I witnessed that if he did not begin fighting in the early part of the day, he would postpone fighting till the sun had declined, the blowing of the breeze had blown and the victory from Allah had come..
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو عمرو نعمان بن مقرن رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ شرکت کی، جب آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم دن کے شروع میں لڑائی نہ فرماتے تو لڑائی کو مؤخر فرماتے یہاں تک کہ سورج ڈھل جائے، ہوا چلے اور (اللہ کی طرف سے) نصرت اترے۔ (رواہ ابو داؤد و ترمذی، اور ترمذی نے فرمایا: حدیث حسن صحیح ہے)
