Arabic (Original)
وعنه أن امرأة قالت: يا رسول الله إن فريضة الله على عباده في الحج، أدركت أبي شيخًا كبيرًا، لا يثبت على الراحلة، أفأحج عنه؟ قال: "نعم". ((متفق عليه))
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them) reported that a woman came to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said, "Allah's obligation upon His slaves has become obligatory on my father in his old age. My father is very old and incapable of riding. May I perform Hajj on his behalf?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "Yes.".
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ایک عورت نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے بندوں پر حج فرض کیا ہے، میرے والد بہت بوڑھے ہیں اور سواری پر بیٹھ نہیں سکتے، کیا میں ان کی طرف سے حج کروں؟ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ہاں۔ (متفق علیہ)
