Arabic (Original)
وعن صفوان بن عسال رضي الله عنه قال: قال يهودي لصاحبه: اذهب بنا إلي هذا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فأتيا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ، فسألاه عن تسع آيات بينات؛ فذكر الحديث إلي قوله: فقبلا يده ورجله، وقالا: نشهد أنك نبي. ((رواه الترمذي وغيره بأسانيد صحيحة)).
English Translation
Safwan bin 'Assal (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that a Jew asked his companion to take him to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him); and when they came to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), they asked him about the nine clear signs (given to Prophet Musa (upon him be peace)). Safwan narrated the long Hadith which concludes: They kissed the hands and feet of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: "We testify that you are a Prophet."
Urdu Translation
حضرت صفوان بن عسال رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: ایک یہودی نے اپنے ساتھی سے کہا: چلو ہمیں اس نبی کے پاس لے چلو۔ وہ دونوں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آئے اور نو واضح نشانیوں کے بارے میں پوچھا... (طویل حدیث) آخر میں انہوں نے آپ کے ہاتھ اور پاؤں چومے اور عرض کیا: ہم گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ آپ نبی ہیں۔ (ترمذی، نسائی)
