Arabic (Original)
وعنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "من الكبائر شتم الرجل والديه!" قالوا: يا رسول الله وهل يشتم الرجل والديه؟ ! قال: "نعم؛ يسب أبا الرجل، فيسب أباه، ويسب أمه، فيسب أمه" ((متفق عليه)) . وفي رواية "إن من أكبر الكبائر أن يلعن الرجل والديه!" قيل : يا رسول الله كيف يلعن الرجل والديه؟ ! قال "يسب أبا الرجل ، فيسب أباه، ويسب أمه، فيسب أمه".
English Translation
'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'as (may Allah be well pleased with them) reported:Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "It is one of the gravest sins to abuse one's parents." It was asked (by the people): "O Beloved Messenger of Allah, can a man abuse his own parents?" Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "He abuses the father of somebody who, in return, abuses the former's father; he then abuses the mother of somebody who, in return, abuses his mother"..Another narration is: Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "One of the major sins is to curse one's parents". It was submitted: "O Beloved Messenger of Allah! How can a man curse his own parents?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "When someone curses the parents of another man who in return abuses the former's father; and when someone abuses the mother of another man who in return abuses his mother."
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن حضرت عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: کبیرہ گناہوں میں سے یہ بھی ہے کہ آدمی اپنے والدین کو گالی دے! صحابہ نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! کیا آدمی اپنے والدین کو بھی گالی دیتا ہے؟! فرمایا: ہاں، وہ کسی کے باپ کو گالی دیتا ہے تو وہ اس کے باپ کو گالی دیتا ہے، وہ کسی کی ماں کو گالی دیتا ہے تو وہ اس کی ماں کو گالی دیتا ہے۔
