English Translation
Narrated 'Abd al-Rahman bin Shumasa: He heard 'Uqba bin 'Amir (may Allah be pleased with him), and he was at that time saying upon the pulpit, "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, 'A believer is the brother of a believer. So it is not lawful for any believer to bargain over the bargain of another believer, nor is it lawful that he propose (marriage) over the proposal of his brother, until he gives it up.'"
Urdu Translation
عبدالرحمن بن شماسہ سے روایت ہے کہانہوں نے سیدنا عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا اور وہ اس وقت منبر پر کہہ رہے تھے کہ بیشک رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا ہے کہ مومن مومن کا بھائی ہے۔ پس کسی مومن کو جائز نہیں کہ کسی مومن کی بیع پر بیع کرے، اور نہ یہ جائز ہے کہ اپنے کسی بھائی کے پیغام (نکاح) پر پیغام دے، جب تک وہ چھوڑ نہ دے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 800]
