English Translation
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: "Islam began as something strange and will return to being strange as it began. It will retreat between the two mosques (Makkah and Madinah) just as a snake retreats into its hole."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اسلام غربت میں شروع ہوا اور پھر غریب ہو جائے گا جیسے کہ شروع ہوا تھا اور وہ سمٹ کر دونوں مسجدوں (مکہ مدینہ) کے درمیان میں آ جائے گا، جیسے کہ سانپ سمٹ کر اپنے سوراخ (بل) میں چلا جاتا ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 72]
