English Translation
Narrated 'Urwa: He said that in my presence someone asked Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) (or he said that I myself asked Usama, may Allah be pleased with him)—and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had mounted him behind himself on his she-camel from 'Arafat—how the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to travel (that is, at what pace did he drive the she-camel)? He said that he would move at a gentle (slow) pace, and then when he found a bit of open space, that is, where the crowd was less, at that place he would move a little faster.

عروہ سے روایت ہے کہانہوں نے کہا کہ میرے سامنے کسی نے سیدنا اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا (یا انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے خود سیدنا اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا) اور رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ان کو عرفات سے اپنی اونٹنی پر سوار کر لیا تھا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکیسے چلتے تھے؟ (یعنی اونٹنی کو کس چال سے لئے جاتے تھے) تو انہوں نے کہا کہ میٹھی (آہستگی سے) چال چلاتے تھے پھر جب ذرا کھلی جگہ پاتے یعنی جہاں بھیڑ کم ہوتی تو اس جگہ ذرا تیز کر دیتے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 713]
