English Translation
Narrated Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him): It was the blessed habit of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that when any people brought their charity, he would say for them: O Allah! Have mercy upon them. Then my father Abu Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) brought his charity, so he said: O Allah! Have mercy upon the family of Abu Awfa. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim/Hadith: 510]

سیدنا عبداللہ بن ابی اوفی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی عادت مبارکہ تھی کہ جب کوئی قوم صدقہ لاتی تھی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمان کے لئے فرماتے تھے کہ اے اللہ! ان پر رحمت فرما۔ پھر میرے والد ابواوفی رضی اللہ عنہ صدقہ لے کر آئے تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اے اللہ! ابواوفی کی آل پر رحمت فرما۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 510]
