English Translation
Narrated the Mother of the Believers Aishah the Truthful (may Allah be pleased with her): The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to make this supplication in the prayer: "O Allah, I seek Your protection from the punishment of the grave, and I seek Your protection from the trial of the Dajjal, and I seek Your protection from the trial of life and death, and I seek Your protection from sin and debt." A man said, "O Messenger of Allah! Why do you so often seek protection from debt?" He (peace be upon him) said, "When a man is in debt, he lies and breaks his promises."
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنماز میں یہ دعا مانگتے کہ”اے اللہ میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں قبر کے عذاب سے اور میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں دجال کے فتنے سے اور تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں زندگی اور موت کے فتنے سے اور میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں گناہ اور قرضداری سے۔ ایک شخص بولا کہ یا رسول اللہ! آپ اکثر قرضداری سے کیوں پناہ مانگتے ہیں؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ جب آدمی قرض دار ہوتا ہے تو جھوٹ بولتا ہے اور وعدہ خلافی کرتا ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 306]
