English Translation

Narrated Simak bin Harb: I asked Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) about the prayer of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and he said, "He (peace be upon him) used to pray a light prayer; he did not pray (long surahs) like those people, and in the Fajr prayer he used to recite Qaf wal-Quranil-Majid or surahs similar to it."
