English Translation
Narrated Umm al-Mu'minin Aishah as-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: The angels were created from light, the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire, and Adam (peace be upon him) from that which has been described in the Qur'an (that is, from clay). ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: فرشتے نور سے بنائے گئے، جن آگ کی لو سے اور سیدنا آدم علیہ السلام اس سے جو قرآن میں بیان ہوا ہے (یعنی مٹی سے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2169]
