English Translation
Sayyiduna Abu Burdah said: I heard Sayyiduna al-Agharr (may Allah be pleased with him), and he was one of the Companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him). He narrated that Sayyiduna Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "O people! Repent to Allah, for I repent to Allah a hundred times each day."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوبردہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے سیدنا اغر رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا اور وہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے صحابہ میں سے تھے۔ وہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: اے لوگو! اللہ کی طرف توبہ کرو کیونکہ میں اللہ تعالیٰ سے ہر دن میں سو بار توبہ کرتا ہوں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1916]
